We raise chickens, ducks and geese for eggs and meat. Soon will be just Turken, Appleyard and African Geese. All Eggs are unwashed sold off the farm.
We feed our birds conventional feed plus all the bugs they can find on our 7 acres, as well as table scraps. They are very healthy!
We currently do not have a state license to butcher birds for sale or for others. The state requires a lot of money and has various regulations to acquire a yearly license.
In most cases, yes, we will take your healthy bird. We will either keep it, rehome it or create a meal for a family.
